Preparing for the SAT
The Spring Grove Area
Scholarship Foundation is sponsoring a SAT Prep Course to help you do your best
on these important college-entrance exams. Instructional times are designed
to address students involved in both after school activities and sports as well
as those employed. A registration form is attached. Since class sizes are limited,
please send in your paid registration as soon as possible.
Test-taking can be challenging - especially if you feel uncertain about what to expect and are anxious about the outcome. By preparing ahead, you can DECREASE your uncertainty, LOWER your ANXIETY, and INCREASE your scores!
- Wednesdays: Feb 3rd, 9th, 17th, 24th 30th, and March 3rd
- All classes held at Spring Grove Area High School
- Two classes offered: 3:00 - 5:00 PM and 5:15 - 7:15 PM
- A total of 12 hours of instruction and assistance before the March 13, 2010 SAT.
- Class size limited to 18 students.
- Registration is open on a “first come, first served” basis. Payment must accompany registration.
- Price of $75.00 includes study guide “The Official SAT Study Guide for the New SAT”
- Course design includes pre-test, instruction and strategies, and post-test
- Bring your own snacks!
